The center of Ayia Napa is a 40-minute walk away, either along the beach or via the main Nissi avenue, which is lined with shops, cafés, bars and restaurants of all types for every taste. With the local bus it takes around 15 minutes. There is also the charming harbour and the beautiful Pantachou beach, which streches 1.2km from Ayia Napa to Glyki Nero Beach.
According to legend, if you kiss while standing in the middle of the bridge arch and make a wish, it will come true!

On the east coast of the island, Pernera & Protaras are main tourist hubs, with a thriving nightlife. Easily accessible by bus from Nissi Beach, or a short taxi ride. There is a nice seafront path along the coast, from Pernera to Protaras it is around 1h walk.
From Kapparis to Cavo Greko, another series of beaches, some sandy, some rocky. The most famous are Fig Tree Bay and Pernera Beach.
Larnaka is a 45-minute drive, Limassol 1.5 hours and Paphos 2 hours. They are as well accessible by intercity buses, which stop at Nissi Beach. You can also visit beautiful churches in the Trodos mountains.
